Which V8 engines fit the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with Denso cushions?

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this part number. It fits eight cylinder fuel systems designed for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a Denso style lower cushion. If your injectors match those three dimensions, this set fits mechanically.

Do Denso cushion injectors need Denso plugs?

No. The cushion is a mechanical seal, and the connector is a separate matter. These ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors use USCAR connectors, so an engine wired with Denso plugs needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso adapter, sold separately. Engines with USCAR wiring connect directly.

Why is offset data needed for an eight-injector Denso set?

Because at idle and light load each pulse is short, and much of it is spent opening and closing the injector. Injector Dynamics measures that behavior for the ID1050-XDS and publishes offset and short pulse data, letting the V8 calibration deliver small fuel quantities precisely.

Is methanol safe in these Denso cushion injectors?

Yes. The ID1050-XDS is rated for all known fuels, methanol among them, and its corrosion resistant internals are meant for long service on alcohol. Methanol needs a much larger fuel volume than gasoline, so check that eight injectors at 1065cc per minute meet the target.

What would void the warranty on the eight-injector set?

The one year warranty against manufacturer defects requires the correct fuel and proper filtration, so contamination from poor filtering or an unsuitable fuel puts it at risk. Injector Dynamics services matched sets like this one directly and offers cleaning and flow testing in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Denso Lower Cushion, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors make up this eight-piece set with purple 14mm top adapters and Denso lower cushions, for V8 fuel systems built around a 60mm Denso-style injector. Typical buyers are adding forced induction or flex fuel to a Japanese V8 whose factory injectors seat on a cushion. Eight injectors at 1065cc/min supply a boosted V8 on gasoline with room left over, and the corrosion-resistant internals handle ethanol over the long term. A stock engine would barely use a fraction of that capacity.

Configuration

This is the eight-injector, 14mm-top counterpart to the 11mm-top Denso set listed for the Lexus SC400. Check body length, top size and lower seal against your current injectors.

Features

Revised internal flow path adds about five percent over the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Replaceable inlet filter for service life on less than perfect fuel
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications in its lengths and seal options
Eight injectors flow matched, each with a Denso lower cushion fitted

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: Denso cushion

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and Denso lower cushions fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a Denso lower cushion.

Notes

USCAR plugs are standard on this set; for Denso-plug wiring order the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and for EV1 or OBD2 wiring the corresponding Injector Dynamics adapter
No vehicle list is published for the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-piece Denso configuration; check fitment by dimensions
Budget for tuning time alongside the injectors, since the calibration must be rebuilt around the Injector Dynamics data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
