Can I use the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this set of three on my engine?

If your fuel system takes a 60mm injector with 14mm top and lower O-rings, yes. Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors as a set of three, so compare body length and both seals with your current injectors, or send us their part number.

Can I order a fourth injector to match this set later?

A matched replacement or addition is arranged through Injector Dynamics, since sets are flow matched together. If the engine needs four injectors, order the set of four from the start, so all of them come from the same matching process.

Can a three cylinder flex fuel build use these?

Yes. The ID2600-XDS is rated for gasoline, ethanol and methanol, and its corrosion resistant internals are built for long term alcohol service. On a three cylinder flex fuel build, the calibration must cover every ethanol content the engine will see, from pump gasoline to E85.

Can I keep my current tune with these three injectors?

No. The engine management sizes each pulse from its stored injector data, and three 2600cc per minute injectors will not match it. Load the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine sees load, and make any pump or regulator changes in the same session.

How long is the warranty on the three injector set?

One year from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects, from Injector Dynamics, with cover dependent on the correct fuel and proper filtration. The trio is flow matched, so a failed injector is replaced through Injector Dynamics to keep all three cylinders balanced.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 3

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in a set of three come with purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings, the most common seal sizes on the 60mm body, for a fuel system that needs three injectors. Injector Dynamics lists no vehicle for this exact set, so it is ordered on dimensions. Each injector flows 2600cc/min nominal and is rated to 9 bar, which puts this trio on a three-cylinder engine running alcohol at high boost. If gasoline is the fuel and power is moderate, a smaller flow class idles more easily.

Configuration

Three injectors, each with a 60mm body, a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring. Measure your current injectors against those three dimensions before ordering.

Features

ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors flow matched as a set of three
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x3)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with 14mm top and 14mm lower o-ring.

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring each need a plug-and-play adapter, sold separately, and for Denso plugs that is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven
Keep injector supply voltage at or above the 11 volt minimum Injector Dynamics specifies

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
