SOUL Performance Muffler Bypass Pipes for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S

SOUL Performance’s Muffler Bypass Pipes for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S are for the owner who wants the fullest voice from the first hybrid 911 Turbo S, all the time. Designed and hand-built in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, they replace the factory muffler section with free-flowing 3 inch mandrel-bent T304L stainless piping and 3D metal printed 316L tips that line up with the fixed bumper outlets. They leave the downpipe and the rest of the factory exhaust in place and bolt straight to the factory or SOUL downpipe, and at roughly 8.4 lbs they strip about 22 lbs out of the back of the car. These are the loudest and lightest muffler-position option SOUL builds for the Turbo S, finished to the same standard as the rest of the range.

Sound

Because the Bypass Pipes do away with the valved muffler section, there is no quiet mode, so the Turbo S speaks with a consistent, authoritative OEM Plus voice at all times. SOUL tuned the 3 inch path to stay free of drone, boom and buzz inside the cabin, with an occasional burble on deceleration rather than a constant rasp. Outside, the note is fuller and more purposeful than factory without tipping into obnoxious, the sound of a turbocharged flat-six with far less between it and the air. Plug-in valve delete modules are included so the removed factory valve motors do not trigger a check engine light.

Construction

The pipes are mandrel-bent from .065 inch wall T304L stainless steel in a full 3 inch diameter, and the tip outlets are 3D metal printed from 316L stainless to align cleanly with the car’s fixed bumper openings. Every joint is back-purged TIG welded with ARCAL Prime argon over thick aluminum heat-sink fixtures that keep the pipes from warping as the welds cool. Mounting brackets are water-jet cut to ISO 9001:2015 standards and held to a ±0.003 inch tolerance, and the pipes mount to the factory exhaust bracket to keep vibration down. Each set is designed and built in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the SOUL Performance Muffler Bypass Pipes for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S fit every model? Yes. They fit all 2026 and later 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S T-Hybrid models worldwide, in both coupe and cabriolet body styles. The pipes bolt to the factory or SOUL downpipe and mount to the factory exhaust bracket, so they install without cutting or permanent modification to the car.
Do the Bypass Pipes change the catalytic converters or downpipe? No. They replace the factory muffler section only and do not alter the factory downpipe or catalytic converters, so no other part of the factory exhaust changes. Exhaust leaves the existing downpipe and flows through the free 3 inch piping in place of the factory mufflers.
Is there a quiet mode, and will they drone? No quiet mode. Because the Bypass Pipes do away with the valved mufflers, the Turbo S keeps a consistent OEM Plus voice at all times. SOUL tuned the 3 inch path to stay free of cabin drone, boom and buzz, with a light burble on deceleration. If you want a selectable quiet setting, the SOUL Valved Sport Mufflers are the better choice.
Will they throw a check engine light or need a tune? No. Plug-in valve delete modules are included so the removed factory valve motors do not trigger a check engine light, and SOUL does not list a tune as required. The pipes bolt to the factory or SOUL downpipe and mount to the factory exhaust bracket for a clean, rattle-free fit.
What are the SOUL Performance Muffler Bypass Pipes for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S made from? They are mandrel-bent from .065 inch wall T304L stainless steel in a full 3 inch diameter, with tip outlets 3D metal printed from 316L stainless. Every joint is back-purged TIG welded with ARCAL Prime argon, and the brackets are water-jet cut to a ±0.003 inch tolerance. Each set is hand-built in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
How much lighter are they than the factory mufflers? They weigh about 8.4 lbs, roughly 22 lbs less than the factory muffler section’s 30.5 lbs, which makes them the lightest muffler-position option SOUL offers for the Turbo S. The savings come from replacing the valved mufflers with straight 3 inch pipes, and less weight at the very back of the car is felt in how it changes direction.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
