SOUL Performance Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S
SOUL Performance’s Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S is built for the first hybrid 911 Turbo S, and it treats the 701 hp Twin-eTurbo T-Hybrid flat-six with the respect that engine deserves. Designed and hand-built in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, each system is 3D metal printed in 316L stainless and mandrel-bent from .065 inch T304L tubing, then back-purged TIG welded and fixture-tested before it ships. Valved sport mufflers open a true 3 inch flow path on command and fall back to a baffled secondary path when the factory valves close, so the car stays refined at a cruise and turns ferocious under full throttle. Matched to a purpose-built Sport Cat X-pipe, it is the rare upgrade that sounds, flows and finishes to a standard worthy of the most capable 911 Porsche has ever built.
Two Sound Modes
The factory valves on the 992.2 Turbo S are electronically controlled and modulate continuously rather than snapping fully open or closed, so SOUL engineered the mufflers around that behavior. With the valves closed, exhaust gas is routed through an internally baffled secondary path that keeps the cabin calm and drone-free on the highway. As the valves open, flow moves to the 3 inch primary path for a deeper, fuller voice that builds with throttle. The result is two usable sound modes from one system, quiet enough for a daily commute and loud enough to reward a back road, all controlled from the factory Sport Exhaust programming (no additional controller required).
Construction
Every gas-contact section, the mufflers, the XY-pipe and the cat housings, is 3D metal printed in 316L stainless steel, a process that lets SOUL build complex internal geometry that cannot be bent or welded by hand. The connecting tubing is mandrel-bent from .065 inch wall T304L stainless for full-diameter flow, and every joint is back-purged TIG welded with ARCAL Prime argon for clean, strong, corrosion-resistant welds. Mounting brackets are water-jet cut to ISO 9001:2015 standards and held to a ±0.003 inch tolerance, so the system indexes to the factory hangers and O2 sensor locations without fuss. Each package is fixture-tested for fitment and foam-packed before it leaves Willow Grove.
Development and Testing
The standout engineering story is the XY-pipe. A separate per-bank layout sounded harsh and a conventional X-pipe cleaned it up, so SOUL developed a hybrid XY design with a shared central chamber plus merge and bypass sections that took nine revisions and extensive back-to-back testing to finalize. Dyno development was carried out at Vollux Autowerks with M-Engineering as the tuning partner. On the development car, measuring the hardware alone on 93 octane, SOUL recorded gains of more than 92 lb-ft at 2,500 rpm and roughly 51 wheel horsepower and 44 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm, the kind of mid-range pull that makes the T-Hybrid feel even more immediate out of a corner.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the SOUL Performance Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S fit every model? Yes. It fits all 2026 and later 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S T-Hybrid models worldwide, in both coupe and cabriolet body styles. The system indexes to the factory hangers, reuses the factory downpipe heat shields and retains the factory O2 sensor locations, so it bolts on without cutting or permanent modification to the car.
- What is the difference between the Sport Cat and Competition versions? The Sport Cat Valved Package pairs the valved sport mufflers with a Sport Cat X-pipe running high-flow SOUL catalysts, and it runs on the factory Sport Exhaust programming with no tune. The Competition Valved Package uses a free-flow Race X-pipe for closed-course use and requires an accompanying ECU tune to run correctly. Both share the same 3D-printed mufflers.
- Will this exhaust drone on the highway? No. With the factory valves closed, exhaust gas routes through an internally baffled secondary path that keeps the cabin refined and largely drone-free at a steady cruise. As the valves open under throttle, flow moves to the full 3 inch primary path for a deeper, louder voice. You get a quiet daily setting and an aggressive one from the same system.
- Does it work with the factory exhaust valves and Sport Exhaust button? Yes. The mufflers are engineered around the factory electronic valve actuator and PSE programming, so the valves open and close exactly as Porsche intended and you control the sound from the standard Sport Exhaust button. No aftermarket valve controller is needed. The continuously modulating factory valves give you two usable sound modes from one package.
- What is the SOUL Performance Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S made from? The mufflers, XY-pipe and cat housings are 3D metal printed in 316L stainless steel, and the connecting tubing is mandrel-bent from .065 inch wall T304L stainless. Every joint is back-purged TIG welded with ARCAL Prime argon, and the mounting brackets are water-jet cut to a ±0.003 inch tolerance. Each system is designed and hand-built in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
- How much power does the SOUL exhaust add on the 992.2 Turbo S? On SOUL’s development car, measured with the hardware alone on 93 octane, testing at Vollux Autowerks recorded gains of more than 92 lb-ft at 2,500 rpm and roughly 51 wheel horsepower and 44 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. The biggest gains come in the mid-range, where the T-Hybrid flat-six already pulls hard, and a matching tune can build on them.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only.

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
