Does it fit every DC2 Integra Type R without modification?

No. The manufacturer states that cars built to the 1998 specification or later need the bumper trimmed to install it. Earlier cars do not carry that note. Ask your installer to check the bumper on your car and allow time for trimming during installation.

How loud is the FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for DC2 cars?

The FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for DC2 cars has the dry VTEC sound typical of full titanium, and no decibel figure is published. An inner silencer is available separately and lowers the volume, which suits owners who want the titanium tone with a quieter cruise.

How much weight does it save?

The manufacturer quotes a reduction of more than 50 percent compared with the factory muffler, thanks to 1mm thick titanium pipe throughout. It notes the figure varies by vehicle model, so treat it as a guide for the DC2 rather than an exact number.

How does the 60RS differ from the 60RR?

Both share the same titanium FX-PRO construction and 60mm main pipe. The 60RS is the street model, with a straight silencer and gains across the whole rev range plus an optional inner silencer. The 60RR pushes exhaust flow further for maximum response and output.

Why does the tail look different from the photos?

The heat coloring on the titanium tail is applied by hand, so no two tails are exactly alike and yours may differ slightly from the product images. The complete-system photos are also representative. The cut dolphin tail shape itself is the same on every unit.

Description

J’s Racing FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for DC2 Honda Integra Type R

J’s Racing’s FX-PRO 60RS Exhaust for DC2 Integra Type R is the street-focused version of the Osaka company’s redesigned FX-PRO full titanium exhaust. The full model change kept the straight-through layout that cuts back pressure to a minimum and enlarged the silencer for a higher quality finish. Every pipe is 1mm titanium shaped on a three-dimensional bender for smooth, low-resistance bends, and J’s Racing quotes a weight saving of more than 50 percent against the factory muffler. A 60mm main pipe and straight silencer add torque and power across the rev range, with the dry VTEC note full titanium is known for. It suits a Type R that commutes and does track days.

Construction

The dolphin tail is cut rather than pressed, which gives it a sharper outline, and its heat coloring is applied by hand, so every tail varies slightly from the product photos. For quieter running, J’s Racing sells an inner silencer separately that brings the volume down, making the 60RS the FX-PRO model aimed at regular road use.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
