J’s Racing High Traction LSD for AP1 / AP2 Honda S2000
Mechanical 1.5-way or 2-way differential with disc springs, RS plates and a forged case, raced by J’s Racing in Super Taikyu.
J’s Racing’s High Traction LSD for AP1 and AP2 S2000s is the mechanical limited-slip differential the Osaka tuner developed through racing and runs in its own Super Taikyu S2000. Offered in 1.5-way and 2-way form, it avoids the vibration, noise and unsettled behavior that large-plate differentials often show, delivering a predictable lock that builds with throttle, so the rear stays composed from tight turns to fast corners. It is a strong choice for an S2000 that sees circuit days or endurance events; a car that never leaves the street will gain less for the cost and the installation work.
J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.
