J’s Racing’s Max Cooling Radiator for DC5 Integra Type R and RSX cars is an all-aluminum unit with one job: stopping coolant temperature from climbing during sustained full-throttle running. A new forming process let J’s Racing enlarge capacity to fill every bit of the available space, and the 48mm-thick radiator still keeps the cooling fan and air conditioning. Stable coolant temperature matters on the K20, because the ECU pulls power and fuel economy suffers once it applies its high-temperature correction. It is built for owners who run circuit days or hard sports driving in any season; a car that only commutes will rarely need it.

J’s Racing forms the radiator with its flex-round process, an integral press method that shapes bends and folds without changing the thickness of the material. Keeping the metal at full thickness through every bend adds strength while trimming weight. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
