J’s Racing’s SUS Brake Lines for GE8 Fit RS models are made for the rear disc 1.5 RS, the sportiest GE in the range and the one most likely to see a circuit. The set swaps each factory rubber hose for PTFE line in a stainless steel braid with a clear protective coat, joined by stainless SUS fittings. J’s Racing, which has developed Honda parts in Osaka since 1989, rates brake lines as a must for any brake tuning. Owners who track an RS or run quicker pads will get the most from them; a lightly driven RS will feel a sharper pedal, but the fade resistance will go largely unused.

Design and Performance

Hard use heats the fluid, and a rubber hose answers by swelling, so the pedal travels further and the bite point moves. The PTFE core resists both heat and pressure, and the braid holds it in shape, so the hose barely grows even when hot.
