J’s Racing Tie Rod Ends for AP1 / AP2 Honda S2000
Tie Rod Ends for AP1 and AP2: adjustable pillow-ball ends that let a lowered S2000 keep its front toe steady over bumps.
J’s Racing’s Tie Rod Ends for AP1 and AP2 S2000s are pillow-ball steering ends with an adjustable shaft, built to correct the bump steer that appears when the front of the car is lowered. J’s Racing lists three results: steadier straight-line running, a clearer sense of tire grip and quicker steering response. Bump steer correction sits alongside roll center correction at the top of the Osaka tuner’s S2000 setup priorities, which is why it makes these for both street and circuit cars. They earn their place on any lowered S2000; at factory ride height the gain is smaller.
J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.
