Most 849 Testarossa owners use the car in two very different ways. Some days it’s a quiet run through a gated community or a cold start before sunrise. Other days it’s a canyon road or a track session where you want every bit of the V8. The NOVITEC 849 Testarossa Exhaust is built for owners who want both. NOVITEC keeps flap-regulation in the design, so the valves still respond to the car’s own drive modes and controls. With the flaps closed, the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 stays restrained enough for daily use. With them open, it gets a deeper, harder-edged voice than the factory system can produce. That control is the main reason to choose this system over NOVITEC’s non-valved race version. You still get a stronger sound, and you keep the car’s ability to settle down when you need it to.

Two Characters, One System

The stock exhaust is tuned around the 849 Testarossa’s plug-in hybrid setup, where the car can drive in silence on electric power and then switch to the V8 at any moment. NOVITEC kept that range of behavior. In a softer mode, the flaps stay shut and the NOVITEC 849 Testarossa Exhaust sounds noticeably fuller than stock without droning on the highway. Switch to a sportier setting and the valves open, the restriction in the flow path is gone, and the V8 gets the volume and edge you’d expect from Ferrari’s flagship. Materials & Heat Management

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
