Does the Exhaust for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo fit the Turbo S?

Yes. RYFT lists the Exhaust for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo cars from 2014 to 2019 and tags both the Turbo and the Turbo S. The two share the 3.8 liter twin turbo flat six, with the S tuned for more power, so one RYFT part number covers both.

Does it fit both the 991.1 and 991.2 Turbo?

RYFT lists the system for the 991 Turbo from 2014 to 2019, a span that covers the 991.1 cars introduced in 2013 and the 991.2 cars launched at the end of 2015. Output rose with the facelift, and the RYFT fitment line does not split the two generations.

What color are the RYFT 991 Turbo tips?

Blue titanium. RYFT names blue titanium tips in the product title, the deep heat tinted finish that titanium takes on at high temperature. The color will keep developing with use, which is normal for the metal and does not indicate a fault.

Will the exhaust suit a 991 Turbo used every day?

RYFT offers this as a Performance specification system rather than a Race system, which suits a car that covers regular road miles. The best way to judge it for daily use is to hear a car fitted with the RYFT exhaust before ordering, particularly on the motorway.

Who should install an exhaust on a 991 Turbo?

A Porsche specialist. The rear of a 991 Turbo is packed with twin turbochargers, intercooling and all wheel drive hardware, so the job means lifting the car, removing panels and heat shields, fitting new gaskets, setting correct torque and aligning the tips in the rear bumper.

Description

RYFT Titanium Performance Exhaust for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo with Blue Titanium Tips

RYFT’s titanium performance exhaust for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S cars covers both halves of the generation, from the 991.1 Turbo introduced in 2013 to the 991.2 that arrived at the end of 2015. Every one uses a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six with all-wheel drive, rated from 520 PS in the first Turbo to 580 PS in the later Turbo S. The 991 Turbo is famously fast and famously quiet, and the RYFT system, finished with blue titanium tips, is for owners who think it should sound as quick as it is.

Design

RYFT builds the system by hand from 100 percent titanium and runs it through its proprietary velocity loops, which RYFT credits with clarity and pitch. The blue titanium tips named in RYFT’s title give the rear a clear signal that the car has been changed, and they will deepen in color with use. We see this as a good fit for a Turbo that is used as a daily or touring car, which is how many of these cars spend their lives.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
