RYFT’s hood outlets for 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS cars sit where the car breathes out. Porsche moved the RS radiator from the usual three-radiator layout to one large, angled unit in the middle of the nose, and the hot air from it exits through large openings in the front lid. RYFT makes the pieces at those openings in 2×2 twill carbon. Because the hood is the panel the driver looks across on every drive, we rate these outlets as one of the most noticeable small RYFT parts for this car.

Design

The front lid of the RS is carbon fiber reinforced plastic as standard, painted in body color, and the Weissach package leaves it in bare carbon. On a painted car the RYFT outlets frame the openings in visible twill; on a Weissach car they continue the exposed weave into the outlets themselves. RYFT also sells hood louvers for the same lid, and buying the two together gives the front of the hood a single, consistent carbon finish.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
