The 750S Spider surrounds its retractable hard top with glazed flying buttresses and tonneau buttresses that shroud the rollover protection, so its upper body is a design of its own rather than a cut-down Coupe. Design

McLaren engineered the 750S Spider on the Monocage II-S tub with a carbon rear upper structure, so the open car needs no added bracing and weighs 108 lb more than the Coupe. RYFT follows the six piece idea used on its Coupe set, laid up in 2×2 twill, and draws the Spider pieces from its 720S Spider program. With the roof lowered, the upper body is on show far more than on a Coupe, which makes this set more visible than its size suggests.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
