RYFT’s carbon fiber rear diffuser for McLaren 750S occupies the lowest part of the tail, below a rear end that McLaren redesigned almost completely for this model with a new bumper, rear deck and mesh grille. RYFT counts the diffuser among the three standout pieces of its 750S program. Of the rear parts RYFT offers for the car, this is the one we would start with, since it reads clearly from behind without the cost of the full bumper shell.

Development

RYFT built its McLaren carbon work on the 720S first and carried much of it across to the 750S, adapting shapes to a car that McLaren says is about 30 percent new. At the back, the new bumper now sits closer to the hard points, leaving the rear tires more exposed and letting pressure escape from the arches, while the central exhaust inspired by the P1 exits higher up. The RYFT diffuser fills the space below all of that in 2×2 twill.
