Is the factory Huracan Tecnica hood already carbon fiber?

Yes. Lamborghini fits the Huracan Tecnica with a full carbon fiber hood from the factory, alongside a carbon engine cover at the rear. The RYFT hood is therefore a change of design and visible weave rather than of material, and it suits owners who want the front lid to match other RYFT carbon on the car.

Does the Hood for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica fit other Huracan models?

No. RYFT lists the hood for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica cars only and does not list it for the Huracan EVO, EVO RWD, Performante, STO or Sterrato. The Tecnica shares its platform with those cars, but an EVO or STO owner should treat this RYFT hood as a Tecnica part only.

Does the RYFT hood replace the factory Tecnica hood?

Yes. A hood is a complete panel, and the RYFT version takes the place of the factory carbon lid on the Tecnica. Bulletproof Automotive confirms fitment details with RYFT before ordering, including which factory fittings such as latch hardware move across to the new panel, so the swap is planned before the car reaches the installer.

Should a specialist fit the RYFT Tecnica hood?

Yes. Fitting a hood means setting its shut lines against the fenders and front bumper and adjusting the latch so the panel closes flush, which takes patience on a car built to tight tolerances. A body shop or installer used to Lamborghini panels will also protect the surrounding paint while the factory hood comes off.

Which RYFT parts pair with the Tecnica hood?

The hood sits directly above the RYFT front splitter, which makes the two the logical pair for a carbon front end. RYFT also builds vented fenders, vented side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing for the Tecnica, plus titanium exhausts that list the Tecnica among their applications. All of the carbon parts share the same two by two twill weave.

Description

RYFT Carbon Fiber Hood for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

RYFT’s carbon fiber hood for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica cars arrives on a model that already left Sant’Agata with a full carbon fiber hood, which makes this a decision about shape and weave rather than a swap of metal for composite. The hood is the panel a driver sees through the windscreen on every drive. We would point it at the owner who has fitted the RYFT splitter and wants the panel directly above it in the same 2×2 twill, rather than at a buyer chasing a lighter car.

Design

Lamborghini built the Tecnica as a road car with track ability, and the factory body shows it: a carbon hood at the front, a redesigned carbon engine cover behind a vertical rear window, and a fixed rear wing. RYFT’s hood takes the place of that factory lid with its own styling in 2×2 weave carbon, drawn under the same Sesto Elemento reference as the rest of its Tecnica set, so the front of the car reads as one design with the RYFT splitter below it.

Features

Carbon fiber front lid with the 2×2 twill left on show
Styling RYFT ties to the Sesto Elemento and its own Tecnica design language
Same weave as the RYFT Tecnica splitter, fenders, side skirts, diffuser and wing
Takes the place of the factory Tecnica carbon hood

Applications

Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica: LP 640-2 | 2023-2024 | 5.2L naturally aspirated V10

Notes

RYFT lists this hood for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica cars and not for any other Huracan model
RYFT does not publish a weight for this hood, and the factory Tecnica hood is already carbon fiber
A natural partner is the RYFT Carbon Fiber Front Splitter for Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica directly below it

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
