RYFT’s titanium race exhaust for Ferrari SF90 Stradale cars is made for the F173, Ferrari’s first series-production plug-in hybrid, where a 4.0-liter F154 FA twin-turbo V8 works with three electric motors for 1,000 cv combined. The SF90 can cover about 16 miles on electric power alone, so for part of every drive the exhaust is silent. When the V8 does run, the sound has to justify the car, and that is the job RYFT took on with this titanium system.

Design

Ferrari placed the SF90 tailpipes high in the rear, a result of an exhaust line laid out around a powertrain mounted lower than on earlier cars, which makes the outlets a central feature of the tail. RYFT knows this car well: its SF90 program added more than 20 carbon parts, covered by Top Gear and Carscoops, and this race exhaust is the mechanical counterpart to that bodywork. It is built by hand from 100 percent titanium around RYFT velocity loops, and we would pair it with the RYFT carbon pieces for owners building a complete car.
