Nitron Front Adjustable Top Plates for CN9A / CP9A Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV and V

Set an Evo up for a stiffer suspension and lower ride height, and the next thing you want is a way to adjust the front alignment, which the factory strut mounts can’t give you. The Nitron Mitsubishi Evo IV Top Plates fix that by letting you change front camber and caster at the top of the strut. Camber sets how flat the front tires sit on the road once the car leans into a corner, and caster sets how the steering loads up and returns to center. They are sold as a pair for the front axle and are designed for use with Nitron coilovers, so the Evo IV top plates suit any CN9A or CP9A that has been fitted with them.

Rubber-Free Construction

There is no rubber in these plates. That means the strut stays exactly where it was put when the front tires are loaded up under braking and cornering, and the alignment your shop dials in is the one the car keeps. The price of that is a little more noise and more of the road surface coming up through the mount, which is a fair trade on an Evo that is used hard.

Machined for Nitron Coilovers

Each plate is machined from aluminum and finished in titanium grey anodizing, with its shape built around the Nitron damper mount. A damper from another maker may need modifying to fit properly, so these plates are meant to be used with Nitron coilovers.

Bespoke Engineering

The plates are made for the CN9A and CP9A front end and replace the fixed upper mounting with one you can change at the track or in the shop.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
