GiroDisc’s Front Rotors for 996 and 997 Porsche 911 models step the front disc up from the factory 330mm to 350mm, adding braking force and cooling capacity, and GiroDisc ships the caliper spacers and longer bolts needed to make room for the larger diameter. Beyond those spacers it is a direct replacement for the original disc. The rings are GiroDisc’s own iron, machined in-house, and the hats are US-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum. It is the logical step for a 996 or 997 driver who wants more front brake without buying new calipers.

Fitment and Installation

The supplied spacers move each caliper outward to clear the 350mm ring, and the longer bolts replace the factory caliper bolts. From there, fitting is much like a normal disc change. Ten cadmium-plated drive pins on class 12.9 cap screws hold each ring on its hat, and anti-noise spring washers keep the assembly quiet when cold.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
