GiroDisc’s Front Rotors for C7 Audi S6, S7 and D4 S8 models on factory iron brakes are a 400mm by 36mm two-piece floating assembly that bolts on in place of the stock discs. Each corner weighs 29.3 lb complete, and 72 curved vanes pull heat out of a disc asked to slow a heavy twin-turbo V8 sedan. For owners who drive these Audis hard on back roads or at the odd track day, it keeps the factory feel and runs cooler.

Design and Performance

The hat is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and it is kept for life: when the ring wears from 36mm to its 34mm limit, only the iron is replaced. The ring floats on cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins so it can grow with heat, and spring washers stop the cold rattle floating discs are known for.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
