COBB Tuning’s CAN Flex Fuel Upgrade for P552 Ford F-150 Raptor trucks gives the 2017-2020 Raptor a live ethanol content signal, so an Accessport flex fuel calibration can adjust to whatever blend is actually in the tank. It is aimed at the owner who runs E85 where the pumps carry it and ordinary gasoline on long trips where they do not. On its own it changes nothing; the value only arrives once the truck is running a COBB flex fuel map or a custom tune, so budget for an Accessport if one is not already on the dash.

How the CAN Gateway Works

The factory ECU has no ready input for an aftermarket ethanol sensor, so COBB places its CAN Gateway between the two. The Gateway injects the sensor reading onto the vehicle CAN network, where the ECU uses it in a COBB Off The Shelf map or a custom calibration. In the CAN Flex Fuel Upgrade for P552 Raptor trucks, the Gateway is a precision manufactured circuit board in a billet aluminum housing on a bolt-in bracket, with Raptor wiring that routes into the cabin.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
