Why choose the Accessport and Silver FMIC Package over the factory location kit?

The Accessport and Silver FMIC Package uses the bigger COBB front mount, with a core 24 inches wide, 14 inches tall and 3.5 inches thick. The factory location kit is quicker to fit and needs no cutting, but its core is smaller. Choose this one if cooling capacity under load matters most.

Is the silver intercooler the same as the black one?

Yes, apart from the finish. COBB lists the same 24 by 14 by 3.5 inch core, the same installation notes and the same Adaptive Cruise Control bracket retention for the silver 7F2500-SL and the black 7F2500-BK on this truck, and both packages share the same Accessport and badge.

Does installing the intercooler require trimming?

Yes, a little. COBB calls the installation straightforward but notes minor trimming on the back side of the grille. With the stock bumper in place, the factory Adaptive Cruise Control bracket is retained. Anyone who wants no trimming should consider the factory location intercooler package.

Is the package emissions legal?

Yes. COBB lists California Air Resources Board Executive Orders D-660-135, D-660-245 and D-660-289 for this package, covering sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states. Several related COBB Raptor listings mark the 2023 model year as 49-state only, so 2023 owners in California should confirm first.

What Raptor features does the Accessport add?

Three settings are specific to the Raptor. Dynamic Pedal Control runs from -5 to 10, reducing pedal response by 20 percent per step below zero or adding 10 percent per step above it. Valet Mode limits throttle to roughly 25 percent, and tire size adjustment corrects the speedometer.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 2 Accessport and Silver FMIC Package (No Intake) for P702 Ford F-150 Raptor

COBB Tuning’s Accessport and Silver FMIC Package brings the large COBB front mount intercooler, finished in silver, together with an Accessport V3 that tunes both engine and transmission on the 2021-2023 Raptor. Its 24 x 14 x 3.5 inch core is the bigger of the two COBB options for this truck, a sound choice for drivers who see sustained load from towing, desert running or hot climates. The factory intake remains in place, and installation calls for minor trimming at the back of the grille. Those wanting a no-cut fit should look to the factory location package.

Intercooler Design

COBB describes its front mount as the easiest route to a significant gain once the Accessport is tuning the truck. The much larger core adds volume over the factory unit, and COBB reports minimal pressure drop in spite of the added size. Retaining the stock bumper keeps the factory Adaptive Cruise Control bracket in use. Paired in the Accessport and Silver FMIC Package with Stage 2 maps for 91 or 93 octane, the silver cooler gives the tune more thermal margin.

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
