Not on Stage 1. COBB offers the Stage 1 engine map for the Land Cruiser in 91 and 93 octane versions only. A truck that runs on 87 should stay on Stage 0, which keeps the factory engine calibration while still giving access to the transmission files, gauges and datalogging.

Is it legal for street use in California?

Yes. The Accessport V3 for J250 Toyota carries CARB Executive Order D-660-346, which allows it to be sold and used on emissions controlled Land Cruisers in all 50 states, as long as it is used in accordance with the COBB application guide.

COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3 for J250 Toyota Land Cruiser is the COBB answer for the current hybrid Land Cruiser, covering 2024 to 2026 trucks with the automatic transmission. Its Stage 1 engine calibration is offered for 91 or 93 octane only, so owners who fill up with 87 should stay on Stage 0 or choose a higher grade. The TCM can be flashed too, with three transmission files that range from factory behavior to a sportier shift pattern. CARB EO D-660-346 makes it legal in all 50 states, and a Gateway Bypass Harness is packed for the first install.

Shift Behavior

Owners who tow, crawl or commute will each find a transmission file that fits on the Accessport V3 for J250 Toyota. Simulated Stock is the factory Land Cruiser transmission calibration. COBB OEM+ keeps things refined, with moderately higher shift points, quicker downshift schedules and a modest increase in mid-throttle requested torque. COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
