Does the Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System need a tune on the Fiesta ST?

No. COBB designed this intake to run on the original factory calibration of the 2014-2019 Fiesta ST, and it is also compatible with every COBB Off The Shelf map for the car. No Accessport is required, and an existing Accessport map can stay loaded.

Is this intake legal in California?

Yes. The intake carries California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-660-64, so it is legal for sale and use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states when installed according to the COBB application guide. A Fiesta ST running it can still pass a smog inspection.

Which Fiesta ST model years does it fit?

COBB confirms fitment on the USDM Ford Fiesta ST from the 2014 through the 2019 model year. These are the B299 hatchbacks sold in North America. COBB does not list Fiesta ST models built for other markets, so confirm the market of your car before ordering.

What comes with the Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System?

The Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System replaces the factory intake from the airbox to the turbo. It includes the carbon fiber intake tube, the carbon fiber airbox lid, a pre-oiled reusable air filter, black 4-ply silicone couplers and black e-coated 304 stainless steel hardware.

Will every intake look exactly like the product photos?

No. COBB hand lays the carbon fiber for the tube and airbox lid, so small imperfections and slight variances in the weave pattern from one part to the next are normal. These variances are cosmetic and do not change how the intake fits.

Is the air filter reusable?

Yes. The filter ships pre-oiled and can be cleaned and reused rather than thrown away at each service interval. Keep it clean and lightly oiled, because a dirty filter will restrict the airflow the larger intake piping is meant to provide.

Description

COBB Tuning Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System for B299 Ford Fiesta ST

COBB Tuning’s Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System for the Fiesta ST swaps everything between the factory airbox and the turbo for 3k carbon fiber in a 2×2 twill, finished in gloss and fitted with black silicone couplers and black stainless hardware. It holds CARB EO D-660-64, so it stays street legal in every state, and it runs on the stock calibration as well as any COBB Off The Shelf map. It suits an owner who opens the hood often; if lap times are the only goal, buy the Accessport first.

Design and Construction

The tube and airbox lid are hand-laid 3k tow carbon fiber in a 2×2 twill under a gloss coat, with a Redline badge on the lid. The tube runs larger piping than the factory part on the way to the turbo, and the joints are sealed with black 4-ply silicone couplers clamped by black e-coated 304 stainless steel hardware. A pre-oiled, reusable filter inside the box adds airflow and more turbo sound. The Redline Carbon Fiber Intake System replaces the whole factory tract.

Intake tube and airbox lid in 3k tow, 2×2 twill carbon fiber
Gloss finish with a bespoke Redline badge
Larger diameter piping for improved flow to the turbo
Pre-oiled, reusable air filter

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
