Does the ZACOE GR Supra Rear Wing Assembly fit a car without the widebody kit?

Yes. It's part of ZACOE Performance’s Land Shark Widebody Kit, but its width stays inside the stock rear fenders, so it doesn’t stick out past the body on a standard A90 GR Supra. It looks proportional on a stock-bodied car and still matches if you move to the full Land Shark kit later.

Does the rear wing add downforce?

ZACOE Performance designed their GR Supra Rear Wing to add rear downforce and high-speed stability, and it doesn’t publish specific figures. On a rear-drive A90 with a short wheelbase and a tuned B58, added load over the rear axle helps the car stay settled at speed and through fast corners, where the factory ducktail does very little.

Why is the wing only available in carbon fiber?

A rear wing carries aerodynamic load at speed and has to resist flex to do its job. ZACOE Performance builds the GR Supra Rear Wing in carbon fiber only, because carbon is stiff enough to hold the wing’s shape under load and light enough to keep weight off the trunk lid. The body panels in the Land Shark kit don’t carry that load, so they can be offered in FRP.

How involved is installation?

Plan on a professional shop. The ten-piece assembly has to be put together, positioned on the trunk, and secured so the wing sits square to the body. A shop experienced with aero parts will test fit, confirm the mounting locations, and make sure the trunk still opens and closes cleanly before final installation.

Description

ZACOE Performance Carbon Rear Wing Assembly for A90 Toyota GR Supra

The A90 GR Supra comes with a small ducktail molded into the trunk. It’s a nice detail, but it does very little once a tuned Supra starts seeing real speed at a track day or on a long, fast sweeper. ZACOE Performance’s GR Supra Rear Wing Assembly puts a proper carbon fiber wing on the trunk, shaped to follow the factory trunk angle so it reads as part of the car’s design instead of something bolted on afterward. The GR Supra Rear Wing is built to add rear downforce and high-speed stability, which is exactly what a rear-drive car with a short wheelbase and a lot of torque benefits from when the rear gets light. It comes from ZACOE Performance’s Land Shark widebody program, but the wing stays within the width of the stock rear fenders. On a stock-bodied Supra it looks proportional, and it doesn’t hang out past the body.

Built to Carry Load

ZACOE Performance offers the rear wing in carbon fiber only, even though the rest of the Land Shark kit can be ordered in FRP. A wing carries aerodynamic load at speed, so it needs carbon’s stiffness to hold its shape without flexing, and carbon’s low weight keeps the extra mass off the trunk lid. The ten-piece assembly was developed from 3D scans of the A90 and refined in CAD, so the wing sits square to the body and lines up with the trunk’s surfaces.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
