Design and Performance

Like the swan neck UCW, the V1X hangs from billet uprights on its top surface so the underside works in clean air. Verus optimized the airfoil with the ANSYS adjoint solver, refined it in the wind tunnel and confirmed it in CFD on a scanned C8. The element adjusts through 15 degrees.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
