Should I buy the 400mm Racing MONO6 or the 400mm MONO6 TA Big Brake Kit for JZA80?

Both use the same 400mm x 36mm rotor and RCP123 pad. The TA caliper adds an internal fluid path, a 3D-cut surface and stainless pistons, and costs more. If the car sees long, hard sessions, the TA is worth it; for occasional track days the standard Racing MONO6 is enough.

What wheels will clear a 400mm rotor?

Usually 19 inch or larger, though it depends on the wheel. Endless gives 18 inch as the minimum for the caliper itself, but a 400mm rotor pushes the caliper outward. Send us the wheel size, brand and offset and we will check against the Endless template.

Why does the Supra kit use the RCP123 pad?

Endless USA lists the RCP123 pad shape for its JZA80 Racing MONO6 kits. It is offered in Type R, MX72, ME22, ME20 and N35S compounds, so the pad can be chosen for road use through to dedicated circuit work on the same caliper.

Is a rear kit needed with it?

No. This is a front kit and does not require a rear upgrade to fit. Endless USA lists Racing MONO4r rear kits for the JZA80 on 332mm and 355mm rotors for owners who want to bring the rear up to match the front.

What is in the box with the Racing MONO6 kit for the JZA80 Supra?

Two Racing MONO6 calipers, RCP123 Endless pads, mounting brackets, two 400mm x 36mm two-piece E-slit rotors and two brake lines. Fluid is not supplied with this Big Brake Kit for JZA80, and Endless specifies DOT4 or higher for the bleed.

Description

Endless Racing MONO6 Front Big Brake Kit for JZA80 Toyota Supra with 400mm Rotors

Endless’s Racing MONO6 Front Big Brake Kit for JZA80 Toyota Supra with 400mm rotors fits the largest rotor Endless USA lists for the standard Racing MONO6 on the car: 400mm x 36mm two-piece E-slit discs. The caliper is the forged monobloc EC6404FN, 2,930g with paired 27mm, 32mm and 38mm pistons, in Endless racing anodise, running the RCP123 pad. It costs less than the 400mm TA kit for the same rotor, at the expense of the TA caliper’s internal fluid path and stainless pistons. Expect to need a large wheel, and a Supra that will use the extra capacity.

Replace the E-slit rotors when the E marks on the face have worn away
Backing plate trimming is usually needed during fitting
Made to order in Japan; use DOT4 or higher fluid

About Endless

Endless was founded in 1986, when Isao Hanazato began developing brake pads out of his own racing experience, and the company builds its friction material, rotors, calipers and brake fluid in Saku City, Nagano. It has run its own team since 1991, in the All Japan F3 Championship and the Mirage Cup, and by 2017 had supplied brake fluid to Formula 1 for fifteen consecutive years. The pads supplied in each kit are Endless compounds, so caliper and friction material come from the same company.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
