No. Boost Logic designed the Valved Section Upgrade for R35 specifically for its own 4-inch titanium exhaust systems. It replaces the muffler section of that system and re-uses the tips already fitted, so it is not intended for the factory exhaust or for exhaust systems made by other brands.

Are exhaust tips included?

No. This is the muffler section only. Boost Logic states that the existing tips must be re-used, so the tips from the current Boost Logic 4-inch exhaust transfer across to the new valved section. Check the tips and clamps before the swap so they are clean and ready to refit when the new section goes in.

When do the valves open?

The valves stay closed below 7 psi of boost, which keeps the GT-R quieter while idling and cruising. Once boost exceeds 7 psi, they open to give the engine maximum airflow. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
