This 964 NTR-R3 coilover kit is built for owners who’ve already outgrown a basic coilover setup and want independent control over how the car handles compression and rebound at different speeds, something the factory torsion bar suspension on this platform was never designed to offer in the first place. Nitron built the NTR-R3 coilover kit for the 964 Carrera, Turbo, and Turbo S around remote hose reservoirs front and rear, giving each corner the oil capacity needed to hold consistent damping through a full track session rather than fading after a handful of hard laps. The front end uses the factory MacPherson strut layout, and Nitron’s kit replaces that spring and damper assembly with a fully adjustable coilover unit at each corner, while the rear works through the 964’s semi-trailing arm, converting the factory torsion bar setup over to coilover without altering the trailing arm geometry or mounting points Porsche built into the car. Hose reservoirs at all four corners keep the damper bodies compact enough to clear the tight suspension towers on this chassis while still giving the oil volume a hard-driven 964 actually needs.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
