It is a four-way Solid Piston coilover system derived from KW motorsport damper technology, developed and manufactured by KW in Fichtenberg, Germany and validated on the company’s own 7-post shaker rig before production. The front ride height moves between 0.4 and 0.8 inches below standard and the rear between 0.2 and 0.8 inches, set continuously on the strut body rather than picked from a list of fixed drops, so the car can be corner balanced properly. Pitch and roll under braking, cornering and load change are reduced, body control improves, and the Dodge Viper responds the way its specification always suggested it could.
