Will I get a check engine light from the valves?

Possibly, which is why valve simulators are recommended. The factory system monitors its own exhaust valves, and replacing the cat-back can trigger a valve-related CEL without them. Adding simulators at install time avoids the fault code. Ask Bulletproof Automotive to include them with the RS6 exhaust rather than sorting it out afterward.

How much weight does the titanium system save?

61.5 lbs compared with the factory exhaust. Grade 5 titanium is lighter than stainless at equal strength and sheds heat faster, which is part of why throttle response sharpens. That weight comes out of the rear of the car, and the RS6 exhaust keeps the burnt titanium finish and premium tips styled for the RS6 and RS7 rear end.

What are the configuration options?

Two. The sport cat-back system with black OEM style tips, or that same cat-back with 400 cell sport catalytic converters added. Choose at checkout. This Valvetronic Designs RSQ8 exhaust is a T304 stainless valved cat-back that runs 3-inch tubing front to rear and hands the driver a switch: closed for the school run and the highway, open for a hard, motorsport V8 that the factory muffling keeps buried. It bolts to the OEM mounting points, keeps the factory tips, and comes in 11.5 lbs lighter than the system it replaces.
