Moshammer Turbo Rear Diffuser treats the 992 Turbo’s flat underbody as an opportunity rather than a finished job. Working from Berlin, Moshammer shaped the trailing edge so hot air leaves the engine compartment cleanly and the air passing beneath the car exits with intent, producing the negative ground effect engineers describe as an inverted wing profile. The consequence is a car that feels more settled the harder it is driven, which is not something you can say of most rear styling parts. Visually it stays inside the OEM+ line, reading as equipment Porsche might have specified rather than an aftermarket statement, and it carries a TUV parts certificate (§19.3). It is delivered primed in satin black with mounting material, in versions for the Standard and the Sport Design rear bumper, so the fit is specific to your car.

Inverted Wing Profile

The diffuser vents hot air out of the engine compartment and, working with the smooth 992 Turbo floor, accelerates the air leaving the underbody. That combination generates a negative ground effect, the inverted wing profile that presses the rear of the car down as speed rises. Moshammer’s own claim is stability, and that is the honest description: the car simply gives you more confidence at the top of third gear.

Bumper Variants

Porsche fitted the 992 Turbo with two distinct rear bumpers, and Moshammer builds a diffuser for each rather than compromising with one shape. Choose the Standard or the Sport Design version to suit your car and the panel gaps close the way they should. Both coupe and cabriolet bodies are covered within the correct bumper choice.

Approval and Finish

The part is supplied with a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), the documentation German authorities expect and useful reassurance anywhere else. It arrives primed in satin black with the mounting material in the box, ready either to fit as delivered or to be painted first. Installation works to the OEM screw points with a special adhesive, so the bumper is not cut or drilled.

How do I tell which rear bumper my car has? Sport Design cars carry the deeper, more sculpted lower valance of that package. If you are not certain, send us your VIN and we will confirm the correct version before the order goes to Berlin.
Does the diffuser do real aerodynamic work? Yes. It releases hot air from the engine compartment and, together with the flat 992 Turbo underbody, creates a negative ground effect that stabilises handling at speed.
Is it approved for road use in Germany? It is supplied with a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), which is the documentation German registration authorities look for on an aerodynamic component of this type.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
