Moshammer Forged M966GT for 991 Porsche 911

Moshammer Forged M966GT began as a critique. Moshammer looked hard at the wheel from the 991 Speedster Concept Heritage, concluded that the offsets were not optimal and the concavity fell short, and rebuilt the design around those two objections. The center was reworked as well, sharp contours replaced by smooth roundings and precise edges, and the overall dimensions grew for a more striking footprint at 20 x 9 front and 20 x 12 rear. Finished in satin gunmetal with a machined face and lip, it reads as close to factory at a glance and rewards a much longer look than that. Calling it OEM plus, as Moshammer puts it, still understates the case.

Reworking a Concept

This wheel exists to perfect an original design rather than replace it. Moshammer identified what it saw as the weaknesses of the 991 Speedster Concept Heritage wheel, the non optimal offsets and the absence of real concavity, and corrected both. What remains is a shape that looks close to OEM at first glance and is on a completely different level in reality.

Center and Concavity

The center was redefined, with all sharp contours removed and replaced by beautifully smooth roundings and precise edges. Ultimate concavity was the second objective, and the depth it adds is the difference between a wheel that sits in the arch and one that fills it. Overall dimensions were increased for an even more striking appearance.

Finish and Specification

The listed configuration is satin gunmetal with a machined face and lip, at 20 x 9 front and 20 x 12 rear, delivering a flush fit and a bold, iconic stance. Beyond that, the wheel is made to order in any size, width, offset, center bore and bolt pattern the owner requires. That flexibility is what lets one design work across several 911 generations.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
