Moshammer GTS Rear Diffuser addresses the one place a 718 Cayman or Boxster looks unresolved, the plain expanse beneath the rear bumper. Moshammer’s Berlin workshop shaped this add-on for cars wearing the Sport Design or GTS rear treatment, so its outer edges follow lines already present on the car instead of arguing with them. Aerodynamically it earns its place, working the air leaving the underbody, and visually it reads as an OEM+ design element rather than an accessory. It ships unpainted with mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), and it bonds into position with a special adhesive. On a mid-engined Porsche this deliberately understated, it is the kind of change owners notice immediately and everyone else simply feels.

Design and Proportion

A 718 is a compact, tightly drawn car, so a rear diffuser has to be judged in millimetres rather than inches. Moshammer developed this one around the Sport Design and GTS bumper aperture, giving the lower rear the structure the standard flat surface lacks. The result is a rear that looks finished rather than modified, which is the whole ambition of OEM+ refinement.

Aerodynamic Function

The profile is shaped to give the air leaving the underbody a defined exit rather than letting it spill out at the bumper edge. That is the functional half of the part, and it is the reason Moshammer describes it as delivering optimal aerodynamic properties instead of calling it trim. Nothing about the installation compromises the standard bodywork.

Supplied Unpainted

The diffuser arrives unpainted, which is the deliberate choice of a manufacturer that expects the part to be finished properly. Owners commonly specify satin black, gloss black, or a match to the car’s colour code, and each reads quite differently on a 718. Mounting material comes in the box and the component is installed with a special adhesive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my 718 with the standard rear bumper? No. This diffuser was developed for the Sport Design and GTS rear bumper, where the lower aperture is a different shape. Cars with the standard bumper are not covered.
Does it suit both Cayman and Boxster? Yes, both body styles are covered, including T and S cars, as long as the Sport Design or GTS rear bumper is fitted.
What finish should I choose? The part arrives unpainted, so the decision is yours. Satin or gloss black keeps the rear visually low, while a colour code match makes the diffuser read as original bodywork.
Is the certification included? Yes. Moshammer supplies this diffuser with a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), which documents the part for road use in Germany.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
