Moshammer Rear Wide Arches for F30 BMW 3 Series

Moshammer Rear Wide Arches exist because the F30 runs out of arch long before it runs out of grip. These flares widen the rear body enough to accommodate rims up to 12×19 or 12×20 on the rear axle, which changes both the stance and what is actually possible under the car. Moshammer develops its bodywork in Berlin to an OEM+ brief, so the arches pick up the original line and read as a factory wide body rather than an aftermarket addition. They are designed around the M Package and M Performance rear bumper, and with minor adjustment they can be adapted to the F32 coupe. As bodywork they arrive ready for a painter, and for an F30 built with intent they are the piece everything else follows.

Design and Stance

A wide arch only works when it respects the line it is extending, and that is what Moshammer has done here: the flare follows the factory arch curve outward instead of interrupting it. The result gives the F30 the planted rear the standard car never quite had, especially in profile. Because they were drawn around the M Package and M Performance rear bumper, the transitions land where they should.

Wheel and Tyre Clearance

The arches are designed to accommodate rims up to 12×19 or 12×20 on the rear axle, which is a serious amount of wheel for a 3 Series. That extra room is what allows a genuinely wider rear track and the tyre section to match it. Plan your wheel and suspension choices together, since the arch is only one part of getting the fit right.

Paint and Fitment

This is bodywork and should be handled as such. The flares need preparation, priming and paint in your car’s colour, then careful alignment against the existing arch, bumper and door before final fitting by a body shop that has done wide arch work. F32 coupe cars can be accommodated with minor adjustments, which is a further reason to use experienced hands.

How much wheel will they take? Moshammer designed them to accommodate rims up to 12×19 or 12×20 on the rear axle. Wheel offset and suspension setup still need to be planned alongside the arches.
Do I need the M Package? Yes. They are specifically designed for F30 and F31 cars with the M Package or M Performance Package.
Can they be fitted to an F32 coupe? Yes, with some minor adjustments. That work should be done by the body shop fitting the panels.
Do they come painted? No. Like all bodywork of this kind they need preparation and paint in your car’s colour before fitting, which is a body shop job.
Will the car still look standard? It will look deliberately wider, not modified. The flares follow the factory arch line outward, so the finished car reads as a factory wide body once painted in your colour.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
