Voltex Cyber Splitter Side End Plates exist because a splitter without them is doing only part of its job. Air piling up on the splitter’s upper surface wants to escape, and the easiest route out is sideways past an open edge, taking the pressure difference with it. Voltex, working from Suzuka since 1995 under founder Nakajima and his F3 and Formula Japan composite background, addressed that on the Cyber program with a pair of plates that wall off the outer ends and force the air to do its work. On a CT9A Evo already carrying the Cyber or Cyber Street splitter, the Voltex Cyber Splitter Side End Plates are the cheapest downforce on the car.

Design and Performance

Sealing a splitter’s outer edge changes how the whole surface behaves. Fitted to the ends of the Cyber splitter, the Voltex Cyber Splitter Side End Plates give the pressurised air above the splitter a boundary it cannot spill past, so the load stays on the panel and transfers to the front axle instead of dissipating into the wheel arches. Voltex built them to raise downforce and stability, and the gain reads clearest on fast corner entry, where a front end that stays planted lets you commit earlier with less correction.
