Few vehicles announce themselves quite like the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and QuickSilver’s sport exhaust makes certain yours is heard exactly as it should be. Hand-built in England since 1979 from aerospace-grade T304 stainless steel, every system carries the coachbuilt expertise that has made QuickSilver an original-equipment partner to marques including Aston Martin. Its Sound Architect valve control places two distinct characters at your fingertips: a refined, unobtrusive calm for the long journey, and a full-blooded performance note the instant the mood takes you. It is precisely the sort of considered, quietly exclusive upgrade a vehicle of this stature deserves.

Design and Performance

Titanium is used as the silencer casing, being stronger it is used in a thinner gauge. When it resonates it produces higher pitched notes. Type 304 Stainless Steel adds a littler more depth throughout the rev range and is used for all the mandrel bent pipe work. In addition we integrate our Sound Architect active valves so the driver can open and shut the valves at his or her discretion. The factory exhaust from Aston Martin does not have any valves and thus does not allow the driver to choose. Our system retains all the in-vehicle functionality including the exhaust ‘exaggeration’ button. This button uses artificial sound through the speaker set up and is default from the factory. Couple with our OPF/GPF pipes for the ultimate sound upgrade. Sound Architect® Remote Valve Control by QuickSilver The new QS Sound Architect® remote valve control system gives you full command of the sound. Our push-button fob can be mounted within the vehicle or used outside the vehicle if desired. Its binary functionality offers two distinct sounds to suit your environment. Our default ‘Sport’ mode offers the full experience with a deeper robust note and utilises the optimum flow of the exiting exhaust gases. With our ‘Refined’ mode, our exhaust harnesses the tone, offering a more civilised note when, and if it’s required. Even better is that like our exhausts, this is a simple install. Just feed the valve cables through the spare wheel well to the rear section, plug the power cable into the 12v in the boot, and you’re away! This style of valve control’s been requested a lot in the past, and we’re excited to finally offer this – the perfect sound is now just a button press away. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
