The SOUL Performance C8 Corvette exhaust package combines the SOUL Sport Cats and SOUL Valved Exhaust System into one complete solution for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray. The high-flow Sport Cats deliver significant increases in power and sound with no check engine lights, while the bespoke chambered X-pipe muffler delivers two distinct sound modes: aggressive V8 rumble with valves open and refined cruising with valves closed. Peak dyno-tested gains of 17 whp and 20 ft-lbs of torque as tested with factory valved exhaust. AFM valve deletes and PTP Lava Turbo Blanket heat shielding included. Research and Development

SOUL’s goal was to improve upon the factory design and deliver two genuinely distinct sound modes. With valves closed, exhaust routes through a bespoke SOUL chambered muffler with an internal X-pipe, crafted to match SOUL’s drone-fighting standard proven in the Porsche world. A more traditional perforated core design was tested and rejected; the carefully engineered chambers deliver a more aggressive sound on and off throttle with fewer undesirable tones. With valves open, exhaust exits freely through 3-inch piping for a thunderous V8 roar, while secondary flow through the muffler and X-pipe reduces rasp for a higher-pitched, more refined open-valve character. The result: mild and wild.

AFM Valve Deletes

AFM valve deletes are included for the factory exhaust valves, which restrict flow in four-cylinder mode. Removing them with the included deletes produces no check engine light.

PTP Lava Turbo Blanket Heat Shielding

Due to the close proximity of the exhaust to sensitive components and plastic on the C8, heat shielding is essential. SOUL has partnered with PTP Turbo Blankets to produce a bespoke, form-fitting solution. PTP Lava Turbo Blankets use an outer layer of pulverized volcanic lava rock fabric, rated 1,800°F direct heat and 2,500°F radiant heat, woven into a tight mesh weave, internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool rated 1,832°F continuous and 2,300°F peak, overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh for increased durability and improved thermal resistance.

Construction

Each component is built in-house from mandrel-bent 0.060-inch wall T304L stainless steel tubing with laser-cut brackets and water-jet-cut flanges. Welds are back-purged for proper penetration and maximum durability. 4-inch double-wall stainless steel tips are available in several finishes and feature depth adjustment for precise fitment.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
