Factory Integration

The SOUL 992 Carrera GTS valved exhaust is engineered for seamless integration with Porsche’s factory exhaust valve actuator and PSE programming. Unlike older vacuum-style valves, the factory valves on the 992.2 GTS are electronically controlled and operate variably, gradually opening and closing based on engine load, throttle position, and drive mode. Even under full throttle in Sport mode, the valves do not stay fully open at all times, so SOUL engineered the system for a smooth, seamless transition during every phase of valve operation. The result is exceptional sound and performance with no check engine lights, no ECU tune, and no OBD killer device required.

Hand-Crafted Construction

Each system is built from 3-inch mandrel-bent 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel tubing, enlarged from the factory’s 2.75-inch diameter for freer flow through the valved pathway. An integrated high-flow harmonic dampening resonator reduces undesirable frequencies across the RPM range. Next-generation metal 3D printing technology is used to engineer 316L stainless inlets and outlets for optimum flow paths through the system. Back-purged TIG welding ensures proper weld penetration for exceptional strength and longevity, and water-jet-cut flanges are manufactured to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches. Thick-gauge aluminum fixtures act as a heat sink during welding to prevent warpage.

Due to the integrated unequal-length turbo manifolds, the 992.2 GTS carries a rich, deep character much like a modern 930 Turbo with a hint of AMG 4.0TT V8. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
