The C8 Corvette Stingray and Z06 make a strong case for being driven regularly, and the Nitron elec-TRON RoadSport Coilover Kit with OEM FAL Integration is developed around exactly that kind of use. Where most performance suspension upgrades push toward a compromise between daily comfort and improved capability, the elec-TRON RoadSport doesn’t force that choice. It uses Nitron’s proportional solenoid valve to continuously adjust damping every 5 milliseconds in response to braking, cornering, and acceleration forces, turning the setup from a passive system into a semiactive one without any input needed from the driver. The kit is built to integrate directly with the factory front axle lift system so that functionality is retained after installation. The Nitron DCU is required to run the system; it reads data on the car’s attitude and the forces acting on it to determine valve position and damping levels, and a 6-position rotary switch gives the driver access to pre-installed damping maps so the overall character of the setup can be adjusted to suit the conditions. The kit is designed around the factory OEM top mounts, keeping noise, vibration, and harshness in check so the car stays composed on the road while delivering noticeably sharper handling over the stock setup. Standalone Electronic Damping System

It’s the brain behind the elec-TRON system, transforming a conventional passive damper setup into a precision semiactive platform. Working in conjunction with Nitron’s elec-TRON valve, the DCU continuously processes data from the car every 5 milliseconds; assessing vehicle attitude, braking forces, cornering loads, and acceleration inputs to determine the correct valve position and damping level at any given moment. The result is a suspension system that isn’t set to a fixed damping rate but is constantly optimizing grip and comfort in real time based on what the car is actually doing. The DCU is fitted with an adjustable control knob giving the driver access to a range of pre-installed damping maps; Rain, Tour, Sport, and Race; each tuned for a specific driving context. Damping continues to be adjusted continuously within whichever map is selected, so the driver sets the overall character and the system handles the rest.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
