Not every build needs caster adjustment. If your E9x, E8x, or F8x BMW already has the caster dialed in through SPL tension rods or another adjustment method, or if you’re running factory alignment settings and just want to stop the suspension from moving under load, the SPL Parts CRBN is the cleaner, more focused choice. It does one thing: replaces the factory rubber with 1-inch FK Racing spherical bearings, eliminates bushing deflection, and keeps the front geometry exactly where it was set, without adding the offset spacers that change caster position. The factory rubber caster rod bushings on these platforms are soft enough to deflect visibly under hard braking and sustained cornering load. That deflection changes the caster and toe in real time, creating a front end that behaves differently under load than it does in a straight line, blurring brake feel and reducing the accuracy of turn-in. Swapping to a spherical bearing eliminates that compliance. The bearing articulates freely in any direction without the progressive deflection behavior of rubber, so the geometry holds position under load rather than shifting with it. The result is more consistent braking, sharper turn-in, and more direct feedback through the steering without the noise and cost associated with redesigning the caster geometry itself.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
