The GR Supra A90 and its BMW platform siblings share a rear suspension architecture that is well-designed but leaves rear camber susceptible to the same problem as every other car that uses a factory eccentric bolt for adjustment: that bolt will move under sustained cornering load. The eccentric relies on torque and friction to stay in position. When the lateral forces generated by aggressive driving, a track session, or even a spirited canyon run exceed that friction threshold, the bolt rotates and camber shifts. The alignment the car was set up with is no longer the alignment it’s running. The SPL Parts ELC G29 eliminates that failure mode specifically for the rear camber arm. It replaces the factory camber arm eccentric bolt at both rear corners with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum lockout plates, zinc-plated grade 10.9 bolts, and lock nuts that mechanically hold the camber arm position regardless of lateral load. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
