An aftermarket sway bar upgrade on the F2x or F3x is only as effective as the endlinks connecting it to the strut. Factory endlinks use rubber bushings that deflect under lateral load; the same compliance that made them acceptable for a comfort-oriented daily driver works against the stiffer bar’s intended purpose. Part of the roll stiffness the upgraded bar was supposed to deliver gets absorbed by the rubber, and the handling improvement is smaller than expected. On lowered cars or cars that have been corner-weighted, fixed-length endlinks make it worse by introducing preload that creates uneven roll resistance between sides. The SPL Parts FE F3X solves both problems in a single pair. Teflon-lined FK 1/2-inch bearings at the strut mount deliver the highest load capacity available for this application and replace rubber deflection with a rigid, articulating connection that transfers sway bar load directly and fully. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
