The G8x M3 and M4 arrived with a more capable factory front suspension than their predecessors, and with a more electronically integrated chassis architecture. The ride height sensor at the front lower control arm connects to the G8x’s adaptive systems; disturb it by changing the arm length, and the BMW chassis electronics generate faults. Most aftermarket front lower control arm solutions for these cars either ignore that sensor entirely or require a workaround. The SPL Parts FLCA G8X includes a ride height sensor bracket that maintains the factory sensor location regardless of arm length, keeping DSC, adaptive suspension, and every other electronics package that reads from that sensor functioning correctly after installation. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
