SPL Parts’ Adjustable Front Tension Rods for G8X BMW M3 and M4 (RWD) replace both the deflecting OEM rubber bushing and the limited factory caster range. The factory front caster settings work within BMW’s street parameters but are not optimized for the performance the car is capable of, and they leave no room for the left-to-right equalization that matters once the front geometry is changed through lowering or upgraded front lower control arms. A precision CNC-machined billet 2024 aluminum hex rod, gun-drilled to reduce unsprung weight, forms the structural backbone, and the 360-degree rotating clamp with a 6061-T6 aluminum clamp body and blue-anodized titanium hardware locks the caster setting in one step without jam nuts. The range is wide enough to add caster for sharper turn-in and better return-to-center feel at any ride height, and to equalize caster variance side to side.
