Two separate problems affect rear toe performance on a lowered or track-prepared 996, 997, 986, or 987 Porsche. The first is static and dynamic geometry; the factory eccentric bolt runs out of adjustment range when the car is lowered, leaving excessive rear toe-in that causes handling problems and tire wear, and the factory rubber bushing allows toe to shift dynamically through bump and rebound. The second is retention; even if the toe is set correctly, the factory eccentric bolt holds its position through friction, and under sustained high cornering loads that friction can be overcome. The SPL RTAEL 996 bundle solves both in a single purchase. The SPL RTA 996 adjustable rear toe arms provide the adjustment range needed to correct static toe-in at any ride height, up to 0.5 inches of bumpsteer spacer adjustment to correct dynamic toe change through suspension travel, and PTFE-lined FK spherical rod ends that eliminate rubber bushing deflection so the set toe angle holds under cornering, braking, and acceleration loads. The SPL ELT 996 toe eccentric lockout plates and class 10.9 hardware then eliminate the factory toe eccentric bolt and replace its friction-based retention with a mechanically fixed connection that cannot rotate under any track load.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks.
