Rays’ Dura-Nut series is forged from A7075 duralumin — the same heat-treatable, aircraft-grade aluminum used in airframe and aerospace fastener applications — anodized in a deep black finish and laser-etched with the RAYS mark and A7075 DURA callout. The L32 is the short-body version at 32mm overall length, sized to tuck cleanly inside OEM-spec lug pockets without bottoming on the stud. Each set ships as 20 pieces — 16 standard 19mm hex lug nuts plus 4 keyed locking nuts and an L41 key adapter — at roughly 20 grams per nut, a meaningful drop in unsprung weight versus typical steel hardware. M12 x 1.25mm thread, 60-degree conical seat, made in Japan.

How many lug nuts come in the set? 20 pieces total — 16 standard lugs plus 4 keyed locking lugs and one L41 key adapter. One full set covers a single four-wheel vehicle.
Will these fit aftermarket wheels? Yes. The 60-degree conical seat profile is the standard for most aftermarket alloy wheels, including Rays’ own Volk Racing line. Confirm your wheel uses a 60-degree conical seat (the vast majority do) and that your vehicle has M12x1.25 studs.
What thread do I need? M12x1.25 is the OEM thread for most Nissan, Subaru, and Suzuki chassis. Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and most Toyotas use M12x1.50 instead. Confirm your vehicle’s thread spec before ordering.
How is A7075 duralumin different from regular aluminum lug nuts? A7075 is a heat-treatable aluminum alloy originally developed for airframe structures — significantly stronger than the cast or extruded aluminum used in budget aluminum lug nuts, while still much lighter than steel (~20g per nut versus 50–60g for steel).
What’s the difference between L32 and L42? Body length. L32 is 32mm and tucks into OEM lug pockets for a clean factory look. L42 is 42mm with a longer body for a more aggressive presence, and pairs with longer wheel studs.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
