The Brixton Forged Magnesium+ Series was built around a straightforward objective; find the ceiling of what a production wheel can achieve when weight reduction is treated as the primary engineering constraint. Each wheel is a 1-piece monoblock forged from AZ80 magnesium alloy and treated with a micro-arc oxidation coating for corrosion resistance, starting from 15.2lbs (6.9kg) and running 30% lighter than forged aluminum by volume. On sports car and supercar platforms where unsprung weight has a direct effect on acceleration, braking, and cornering response, those numbers translate into driving feel that’s immediately apparent. AZ80 magnesium brings 12% greater specific strength than aluminum alongside a significantly higher dampening capacity, which keeps the ride composed under the kind of hard use these platforms are built for.

• Ultra-Lightweight Magnesium: The Magnesium+ Series starts at 15.6lbs (7.2kg) for a 20×9 fitment and comes in 30% lighter than aluminum across equivalent sizes, with the weight reduction rooted in magnesium’s finer hexagonal grain structure and lower density rather than material compromise. That reduction in unsprung mass feeds directly into how the car responds through corners, under braking, and off the line on platforms where those inputs are most sensitive to change.
• Manufacturing & Applications: Every wheel in the Magnesium+ Series is forged from high-grade AZ80 magnesium alloy, CNC milled for dimensional accuracy, and heat treated to bring material hardness to the level that sustained track use requires. An anti-oxidation coating protects the surface across the full service life of the wheel, and every unit goes through structural and performance testing prior to leaving production. The series covers 18 to 21 inches across a range of designs developed specifically around the fitment requirements of sports cars and supercars.
• Diverse Design & Finish Selection: Through-cut spokes are consistent across the Magnesium+ lineup, removing material where it can be taken out without affecting structural performance while giving each design a visual character that reflects the engineering behind it. The reduction in rotational mass sharpens acceleration and braking response, and the drop in unsprung weight produces measurable improvements in cornering stability and handling precision that are felt before they’re measured.
• Bead Seat Knurling: Bead-seat knurling is standard across every Magnesium+ wheel, and on a wheel designed around track use it’s a detail that carries real functional weight. The knurled surface at the bead seat holds the tire bead against the rim under the lateral loads that high-speed cornering and hard acceleration generate, keeping tire slip from becoming a factor in conditions where it would have genuine consequences.

• Brixton’s Text and Groove Fill program is for builds where specific design details need color contrast to read separately from the base finish. Epoxy accents can be applied to the Brixton logo, wheel name, series name, and design-specific grooves or spokes, with up to 3 fill instances per wheel depending on the design. Standard colors are Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow, with all other colors available on request.

There are no “off the shelf” Brixton wheels and as such, a lead time of a few weeks is to be expected once your spec has been finalized.
