The factory turbo tube on the 2023 hybrid facelift A 35, A 250, CLA 35, GLA 35, and GLB 35 uses a ridged flexible section at the airbox side; that corrugated stretch is a known flow restriction that introduces turbulence before air ever reaches the turbo. The Eventuri Carbon Turbo Tube eliminates that flexible section entirely, replacing it with a solid prepreg carbon fiber tube that runs the full length from intake to turbo inlet. Internal volume is also increased over the OEM piece, giving airflow a less restricted path through the entire assembly. To manage the natural movement of the engine without cracking or binding, Eventuri designed a “floating” tube arrangement that allows the carbon tube to move within the airbox housing rather than fighting it. Where the tube meets the turbo housing, a silicone coupler with an internal thermal separator keeps heat from the metal housing out of the carbon tube. The multiple breather connections at the rear of the tube are handled by a CNC-machined block, which consolidates the connections while maintaining a smooth interior surface so airflow through that section stays clean. The turbo-end profile was developed using CFD analysis to reduce turbulence at the entry point, and every component in the kit is built to the same standard as the carbon tube itself.

They strive to publish all the development information to illustrate the depths they go to in bringing an intake from concept to reality. Only the best materials are selected for each component even down to the choice of fasteners and fixings in order to ensure that the quality of the end product is second to none.
