The Brixton Forged Carbon+ Series exists for a specific reason; on a supercar or hypercar, unsprung weight affects acceleration, braking, and handling in ways that are felt before they’re measured. APP 6061-T6 aerospace-grade forged aluminum faces are paired with DYMAG Boxstrom BX-F carbon fiber barrels and RAU titanium assembly hardware to produce a construction that runs roughly 25% lighter than a comparable all-aluminum build. Retaining the multi-piece format was a deliberate decision, because it preserves the fitment and offset options that a one-piece carbon wheel can’t provide, extending the series across a wider range of platforms without undermining the performance rationale. Testing on supercar and hypercar platforms under track and road conditions has confirmed the construction performs where it’s intended to.

Weight Comparison

• DYMAG’s engineering focus is squarely on what happens when acceleration, braking, and handling are being pushed to their limits, and the carbon fiber barrels are built from that starting point. Running up to 40% lighter than cast aluminum and 20% lighter than forged aluminum, the weight difference is one that shows up in driving feel on platforms that are sensitive to rotating mass. Every DYMAG wheel is put through physical testing that satisfies TÜV, SAE, JWL, and VIA certification requirements, with FEA used to develop and refine the structural design in parallel with that process rather than independently of it.

• Carbon+ 2-piece wheels are built with fully exposed hardware exclusively, using titanium assembly hardware throughout instead of the stainless steel that most other applications call for. Text & Groove Fill Options

• The Text and Groove Fill program is for builds where specific design details need color contrast to read clearly against the base finish. Epoxy accents can be placed on the Brixton logo, wheel name, series name, and design-specific grooves or spokes, with up to 3 fill instances per wheel depending on the design. Standard colors are Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow, with all other colors available on request.

• Brixton Forged’s finish catalog runs past 6,000 powder-coat and Cerakote options, broken across solid opaque, textured, and transparent clear categories to give builders a well-organized and practical range to work from.

Brushed finishes take a different path, starting with 120-grit hand-brushed aluminum before a transparent coat is applied to lock in the grain and preserve the handworked quality of the surface. Polished Mirror Gloss, Polished Anodized Satin, Brushed Gloss, and Brushed Satin are available across both finish paths.

There are no “off the shelf” Brixton wheels and as such, a lead time of a few weeks is to be expected once your spec has been finalized.
