Light Features

• The Tesla Model 3 / Model Y headlights use a 3D ice-cube quad-projector design powered by high-output LED technology for both low and high beam. A slim LED tube along the lower edge of the housing provides distinctive accent lighting. An integrated DRL provides enhanced daytime visibility. Amber sequential turn signals create a sweeping, dynamic indicator effect. An activation startup sequence illuminates the front lighting array at ignition for a signature visual impression.

Breathing Vents

• Condensation is a common challenge in both OEM and aftermarket headlights, as moisture can accumulate inside housings due to temperature changes even with strong seals. To address this, Nitto Denko TEMISH® CAPSEAL™ air vents promote efficient moisture discharge in the headlights. These vents improve airflow within the housing so moisture can escape naturally, functioning like a breathing mechanism, earning them the “Air Breathers” name.

Housing

• The headlights housing is constructed from high-quality polypropylene (PP) for lasting durability. Polypropylene’s strong resistance to heat and moisture helps maintain reliable performance across a wide range of driving conditions and climates.

Lens

• The Tesla Model 3 / Model Y headlights use high-quality polycarbonate lenses engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions while delivering excellent lighting performance. An anti-fog coating reduces internal fogging and improves visibility in changing conditions. A protective UV-resistant coating is also applied to resist yellowing and oxidation, keeping the lenses clear and looking newer for longer.
